House swapping “Having just moved house my husband and I felt we could not really afford to go on a big family holiday but our children were very disappointed and so we decided to look into holidays in the UK. A friend suggested we look into house swapping. What a great idea! We looked at lots of different sites but finally chose to swap houses using the Globalappointments site. It does not have very many families involved in the scheme at the moment but we found a family looking for a house swap from Dorset. We went for 10 days in August and had a fantastic time. The family had children who were almost exactly our children’s ages and so all the toys were age appropriate. The beach was only half an hour away and the family had left us a list of all the good local attractions. We will be using this service again I only hope a few more families get involved.”
